Telehealth Consent

How consent works for secure virtual evaluation appointments.

Please note

This policy is provided for information only and is reviewed by the practice's legal and compliance advisors. It does not replace legal advice.

How telehealth appointments work

Appointments are completed by secure video. You need a private location, a working camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection.

Limitations

Telehealth may not be appropriate in every situation, and some jurisdictions or requesting organizations may require an in-person appointment.

Emergencies

Telehealth is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
